Tyler has over six years of experience in the surveying industry. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with a minor in Agriculture from Central Missouri University. Following his graduation from college, Tyler went on to attain a Land Survey Certificate and is certified as a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT).
Tyler began his surveying career as a Survey Crew Technician for the Johnson County, Kansas Public Works. In 2008, Tyler moved back to the Rolla area and started work with Elgin Surveying & Engineering, now known as Archer-Elgin.
Tyler has developed an expertise in boundary and topographical surveying along with construction layout. Throughout his career, he has worked with contracts for public agencies, commercial developers and various construction companies. Tyler has completed field survey work in several states throughout the Midwest including Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma and has extensive experience throughout the state of Missouri.
Tyler spent all of his childhood in the Vienna, Missouri area and graduated from high school from the Maries R-I High School (Vienna). After college and his early professional career, Tyler moved back to the Vienna community to be closer to family.
In his spare time, Tyler enjoys a wide variety of sports including slow pitch softball, basketball and golf. His choice of a career in the surveying field places him outside much of his work day. In addition to work, he enjoys outdoor sports including hunting and fishing. Tyler and his wife, Kacie have a young son, Parker.
