He attended Sullivan High School and began his college education playing basketball for the Mid-America Nazarene University in Kansas. He transferred to East Central and then on to Mizzou and after graduating, moved to Bourbon. He grew up with a farming background and a commitment to rural Missouri. His decision to live in the Bourbon community affords him the opportunity to continue to enjoy the rural Missouri lifestyle that he experienced as a child.
He and his wife Michelle have three children, Jordan, Lane and Lacie. They enjoy outdoor activities together, including hunting as a family. One of their favorite vacation destinations is traveling to the Western United States. Their family is active in their local church and many community activities.
Scott’s focus is his family – his wife and three children are his center.
