Old Springfield Road Extension – Owensville, Missouri

The City of Owensville marked a milestone on October 25, 2024, with the ribbon cutting and official opening of the new section of Old Springfield Road, located near Lakeside Book Company. This strategic roadway extension improves local connectivity by creating a direct route to Highway 19 South, enhancing daily transportation access for residents and supporting area industry.

Archer-Elgin was proud to serve as the engineering partner for this project, which represents a successful collaboration between the City of Owensville, Donald Maggi Construction, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), Meramec Regional Planning Commission, and Lakeside Book Company. Together, the team delivered a long-anticipated infrastructure improvement that supports both community convenience and economic development.
