Jami Reppond

Jami1Jami has over 33 years’ experience working in the consulting engineering and surveying field – 30 plus years of that time working for Archer-Elgin (formerly Elgin Surveying & Engineering, Inc.). She has attended Drury University, with classes taken in accounting. Jami’s responsibilities have included office administrative duties including accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and human resources. She has developed expertise in the creation of legal descriptions from plats as part of the survey process and has developed indexing systems and filing systems for the firm’s 50 plus years of surveys. Jami is the first face most clients see when they visit the Archer-Elgin office.

Jami was born in Rolla, Missouri and grew up in Edgar Springs, Missouri. She attended Phelps County RIII School through 8th grade, then attended and graduated from Rolla High School. She began working in the consulting engineering field after graduating from high school.

Jami and her husband Curt, an operations manager at Rolla Municipal Utilities, have three children. Their oldest daughter, Kaitlin is an elementary school teacher and she and husband, Chris have two young daughters, Ruby and Harper. Their daughter Hailey is also an elementary school teacher and their youngest, Chance is a student at Missouri Valley College, where he is on the school’s rodeo team participating in team roping and steer wrestling.

Jami and Curt live in the Edgar Springs area on the farm that was originally her grandparents’ and are surrounded by family. When their children were younger, they spent much of their time as a family competing in rodeos, with Jami and Curt and all the children competing in team roping. They also enjoy hunting, fishing and gigging. Jami and Curt operate a cow-calf operation on their farm and Jami says her favorite place is at home on the farm.

One of Jami’s favorite things is being a grandmother and she hopes to pass on a bit of wisdom to her grandkids that she learned from her own grandmother: Never let it rest, until your good is better and your better is best. Jami has dedicated her working life to helping build the Archer-Elgin firm and is proud to be a part of this organization.
