Scott Volkmann

ScottScott graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1994 from the University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri and is a Land Surveyor-In-Training (LSIT). Scott has 19 plus years’ experience in boundary and topographical surveying along with construction layout and is highly experienced with complex building and site projects. He is currently the Survey Crew Chief with Archer-Elgin. Scott has experience with Trimble 5603 DR 200+, and Trimble R-8 GPS receiver with TSCE2 data collector.

Scott was born and raised in Spring Bluff, Missouri, a small town just outside of Sullivan. He attended Sullivan High School and began his college education playing basketball for the Mid-America Nazarene University in Kansas. He transferred to East Central and then on to Mizzou and after graduating, moved to Bourbon. He grew up with a farming background and a commitment to rural Missouri. His decision to live in the Bourbon community affords him the opportunity to continue to enjoy the rural Missouri lifestyle that he experienced as a child.

He and his wife Michelle have three children, Jordan, Lane and Lacie. They enjoy outdoor activities together, including hunting as a family. One of their favorite vacation destinations is traveling to the Western United States. Their family is active in their local church and many community activities.

Scott’s focus is his family – his wife and three children are his center.
