David Cavender

David CavenderDavid graduated with a BS degree in Civil Engineering and Agriculture from University of Missouri, Columbia, Missouri and an MS degree in Environmental Engineering from Georgia Tech, Atlanta, Georgia. He has over 20 years of experience as a project manager/engineer in a variety of both municipal and private projects including wastewater and waste management that includes disinfection byproduct studies and currently works with Archer-Elgin. Prior to this, he worked for Horner & Shifrin, Inc. in the St. Louis region for 6 years. David is registered as a Professional Engineer in the States of Missouri and Illinois is a licensed Water Treatment Plant Operator and Wastewater Plant Operator in the State of Missouri.

David has significant experience in the areas of design, construction administration, inspection and startup for a variety of projects. He specializes in working with public infrastructure systems including: design of municipal wastewater treatment plants, sewer rehabilitation, wastewater collection systems, water treatment works and water distribution systems.  David has experience working with a wide-range of clients from large metropolitan cities to small cities with populations under 500 to public infrastructure water and sewer districts.

David spent his childhood in central Missouri. David and his wife Dianne stay busy with their four grandchildren and church.  David enjoys running and fishing.
